Vice President of the Nigeria Basketball Federation Babs Ogunade has stated that the agitation and protest that culminated into a full-scale nationwide crisis last week is double jeopardy for sports because Youths are the key actors in sports.
Ogunade speaking in a chat with brila.net said the current situation of things is unfortunate because just when it looked like sports was coming back after a long time out due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the crisis had slowed what would have been a return to sports.
He also called on the youths to be patient now that their agitation for good governance has been noted by the Government.
