Sky Germany reporter Florian Plettenberg has issued a couple of reports regarding Borussia Dortmund centre-back Nico Schlotterbeck, a player Liverpool FC have been linked to over the past week.
The first directly addresses a potential pursuit from Liverpool:

Given that itās Florian Plettenberg, the very definition of hit or miss, Iām not very convinced Liverpool arenāt interested. Given BILDās previous reporting that Schlotterbeck wasnāt considering an immediate extension, itās just up to you on which mediocre source you choose to believe at this point.
As for Bayernās interest, theyāre in the exact boat as Liverpool, with a centre-back entering free agency in the summer in Dayot Upamecano. There have also been murmurs for the past few years now that theyāve wanted to get rid of Kim Min-jae, and well, Schlotterbeck is German, so them throwing their hat into the ring isnāt exactly hard to believe.
Dortmund may or may not be reluctant to sell another German international to Bayern (though it hasnāt happened in quite a while now), so that could be another factor thatāll come into play.
