Brothers Fitina Omborenga and Yunusu Nshimiyimana have withdrawn from Amavubi camp following the loss of their father who passed on yesterday.
The brothers left Rwanda’s camp yesterday on a compassionate leave.
Omborenga, who is currently fourth all-time most capped Rwandan player, will be a significant blow to Amavubi.
The right-back has made 75 appearances for the national team prior to his recent call up.
Nshimiyimana, 23, was handed his first senior Rwanda national team call-up after being selected for the squad to square off against Senegal in their final AFCON Qualifier contest in 2023.
