Gosepl Singer, Timi Dakolo has told the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) that the Super Eagles coach, Jose Peseiro can’t qualify the team to the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Dakolo made this assertion on the backdrop of Nigeria’s 1-1 draw against Lesotho on Thursday in their opening qualifying campaign at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium, Uyo.
Second-half goals from Motlomelo Mkhwanazi and Semi Ajayi ensured both teams shared a point each.
Reacting via his Twitter (X) account, Dakolo also branded the Super Eagles’ display as ‘very embarrassing.’

“Dear @thenff, this coach can’t be the best coach available for a country like Nigeria.
“This is very embarrassing. This man can’t take the Super Eagles to the World Cup. It is actually painful to watch,” he tweeted.
Nigeria will face Zimbabwe in their next World Cup qualifier on Sunday.
