However, in a chat with NFF TV, the 26-year-old KAA Gent centre-back has described the mood in the Super Eagles  camp as peaceful.
He also noted that the duo of William Troost-Ekong and Jamiu Collins have made it easy for him to gel with the team.
“It is nice to meet the players and I think all of them are really nice people. It is also nice to train with big players like Osimhen and Chukwueze,” Torunarigha said.
“Captain Troost-Ekong and Collins have really helped me to find my spot in Eagles. This is my first call-up and I hope I will be given time to show the fans, who have been criticizing me for denying Nigeria all through, what I am made of. I am a young guy and I want to show Nigerians what I can offer.”
