The D’Tigress were beaten by world number one United State of America in an exhibition game on Sunday night.
The exhibition game for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics encounter ended 62-93 in the favor of the Americans.
The Nigerian ladies lost the first and second quarter by 15-29 and 19-26 respectively, before pushing the Americans all the way in third quarter, but still lost 17-18.
The Americans showed their superiority by taking the fourth quarter 20-11 to leave the final scoreline 93-62 points.
The African champions will need to improve in their defense if they’re to make any statement at the Olympic finals in Japan.
D’Tigress are drawn in Group B alongside hosts Japan, France and World Champions USA.
