Abia Warriors and home-based Super Eagles defender Austin Obaroakpo has stated that the improved performance of Nigerian players abroad this season is a massive boost to all Nigerian footballers because the world will now have a different view of the talents in Nigerian Football.
Obaroakpo speaking in a chat with brila.net stressed that the display of Nigerian players across different leagues abroad is a blessing that even the home-based players will benefit from.
He added that rather than get worried on what this could translate to on the immediate for home-based players with regards to the national team, he would love to see the players continue to do well for the good of all.
