Lobi Stars defender Aniyikaye Adeleye joins Sudanese giants El Merreikh

El Merreikh SC have confirmed the signing of Center back Aniyikaye Adeleye from Lobi Stars.

Adeleye signed a two-year contract and the move was confirmed via the club’s social media handle.

“Transfer Window Update | El Merreikh SC have confirmed the signing of Nigerian Central Defender Aniyikaye Adeleye form @LobiStars FC on two-year deal. Welcome home ADELEYE.” the club said in a statement posted on Twitter.

Adeleye becomes the club’s sixth signing in the January window to boost Coach Miodrag Ješić’s CAF Champions League campaign.

El Merreikh SC also confirmed the signing of Jamaican international Centre-forward Darren Mattocks, who joined the team in a free transfer.
