Enugu Rangers attacker Kelvin Itoya has rued his side’s absence on the continent few days after the Preliminary round draws for the CAF inter club competitions were conducted.
Itoya speaking in a chat with brila.net blamed the club’s miss on the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic which struck at a time the team peaked and were already looking good for a challenge for the top three places in the league.
He added that for a side that is used to playing on the continent, next up for the club will be to focus on doing well in the league next season.
