PRESIDENT BUHARI CONSTITUTES ECONOMIC ADVISORY COUNCIL
1. Prof. Doyin Salami – Chairman
2. Dr. Mohammed Sagagi – Vice-Chairman
3. Prof. Ode Ojowu – Member
4. Dr. Shehu Yahaya – Member
5. Dr. Iyabo Masha – Member
6. Prof. Chukwuma Soludo – Member
7. Mr. Bismark Rewane – Member
8. Dr. Mohammed Adaya Salisu – Secretary.
In this new constituted Economic Advisory Council, Prof. Chukwuma Charles Soludo as ordinary member can not make a difference. Because his immense contributions may not be adopted, looking at the way APC led government sidelines South East, they would not like a policy that would benefit this particular region. Soludo as an ordinary member, he is there just to make sure all the six geo-political zones are represented. His ideas would be sidelined.
Again, Economic Advisory Council, without the indigenous investors like Aliko Dangote, Otedola etc. These big investors should be included in the council to represent other business men and women for proper policy making.
