Super Eagles defender, Ola Aina says he is ready to give his best against Egypt in the Afcon Group D group opener on Tuesday in Garoua.
Aina is likely to start in right back position in today’s game ahead of Venezia’s defender Tyrone Ebuehi who came in for injured Shehu Abdullahi.
Speaking ahead of the game, Aina who is appearing in the tournament, stated that, he want to play well for the team and the country.
“It’s very good, I love the atmosphere. We are very close together. We are like a family which is very important.”
“I want to play well for the team and put up good performances that will help the squad.”
“I said to my roommate (Alex Iwobi) that when you come here, you realise what privilege is to play at this tournament.”
Aina helped Nigeria to a third place finish on 2019 edition in Egypt.
