Uganda head coach Paul Put brings significant AFCON experience into this campaign, having managed in the 2013, 2015, and 2019 editions.

In 2013, he led Burkina Faso to the final, while in 2015 the Stallions exited at the group stage.

He led Guinea to the round of 16, and Uganda will hope to benefit from his deep tournament knowledge as they navigate a tough group featuring Nigeria, Tunisia, and regional rivals Tanzania.

Uganda has faced Nigeria eight times in official matches, winning four and losing three, a reminder that underrating the Cranes could be costly for the Super Eagles.

With strong organization and renewed ambition, Uganda aims to deliver a memorable AFCON campaign that will make the nation proud.
