Super Eagles striker Victor Boniface scored and bagged an assist as Bayer Leverkusen thrashed Qarabag 5-1 in Group H of the Europa League, completesports.com reports.
The former Union SG striker has now scored 10 goals in all competitions for Leverkusen this season.
Boniface scored in the 35th minute to put Leverkusen 3-1 ahead.
After receiving a pass from his teammate, he volleyed a rocket of shot into the top corner of the net.

In the 57th minute he then turned provider as he set up Edmond Tapsoba for Leverkusen’s fifth goal of the night.
It is now three wins from three games in Group H for Leverkusen who are leaders.
The first time the Bundesliga club won their opening three group games was in the Champions League in the 2001-02 season when they reached the final.
Also, they have not lost a game in all competitions this season.
In Belgium, Austrian-born Nigerian Tobias Lawal was in goal for LASK who lost 2-1 away to Union SG in Group E.
LASK occupy bottom in the group with zero points after three games.
