The Egyptian has scored at least 20 league goals for the Reds in three seasons.

Another week, another goalscoring milestone achieved by Mohamed Salah. This time, the Egyptian becomes the only Liverpool player to scored 20+ league goals in three different seasons. This record was created when Salah slotted home in the third minute against Newcastle United last weekend. He trails Harry Kane by a single goal for this season’s Golden Boot.

“I’m proud to score goals for a club like Liverpool,” Salah told Premier League Productions in the wake of the team’s bit match against Manchester United on Sunday.

“The record in the Premier League is something huge for me and something that makes me proud. I just need to keep working hard and just achieve more for the club and for myself, and also I can’t just say it’s about me.

“It’s also about the players; they also try to help all the time and give me the ball in front of the goal, so I want to thank them also for that achievement. They are a big part of it.”

Salah seems to be the only one who can find the back of the net for Liverpool recently, and even he missed his fair share of opportunities in the draw against Newcastle last week. There are five games left in the season, and the team will need every goal that they can get from now until then.
